Preparing!

The Arnold clan is in full preparations! The entire family is hanging out in the family room listening to a mix of U2, Clannad, Enya, The Corrs, Cranberries, John Whelan, The Pogues, Sinead O'Connor, and some Irish folk music while Lee is sipping Irish whiskey and the girls are...jigging.

Claire has been packing since early March. I am really looking forward to some rashers and Jackie is quite willing to try her first Guinness.

Preparation and Research

Dublin Time:

Blackie O'Connell brings us on a trip around County Clare, the Home of Irish Music. Blackie, Karol Lynch and Seanie O'Gorman play in the Old Ground Hotel, every weekend on Friday and Saturday Nights. Come join us for some great food, great drink and a great trad session in the Poets' Corner Bar. The Old Ground Hotel (4*) is a former Manor House dating to the 18th century. The Hotel has an excellent reputation for superb food in the traditional O'Brien Room or Poets Corner Bar and the more modern Town Hall Restaurant.
